Providing businesses access to
Research & Development opportunities

One of Canada's Top Universities
As one of the top universities in Canada, Queen’s University has brought together, and built synergies among, leading researchers, innovators, and businesses to provide access to a wealth of support for research and development, business incubation and acceleration for more than 175 years.
Queen’s University Partnerships and Innovations (QPI) team supports connections with Queen’s top-tier academic experts, students, research facilities and equipment. These resources can be leveraged for collaborative research and development projects and service agreements to greatly enhance product development and commercialization. In addition to a wealth of networking opportunities as well as 1:1 support to connect with the right resources, QPI also assists with the identification of funding requirements and opportunities to support the success of collaborative projects. Talent can also be accessed through a variety of student projects, internship opportunities and recruitment support.
In addition to Queen’s University, the EOIC also provides access to a host of research facilities and academic institutions — like Durham College, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, St. Lawrence College and Loyalist College— to aid SMEs with research and development, training, business and technical advice, validation of new technologies and more.
