Join us for the 2nd Annual Ottawa Day Celebration — a city-wide gathering to celebrate the heart of our community through connection, pride, and shared humanity.

You are warmly invited to an evening that honours the people, stories, and spaces that make Ottawa feel like home.

Ottawa Day is a grassroots civic initiative created to celebrate the extraordinary heart of our city — the everyday humanity, quiet leadership, and shared care that shape Ottawa across every neighbourhood, culture, and generation.

This year’s theme, HOME, invites us to reflect on what truly makes a city feel like home: the people who welcome us, the spaces that hold our memories, the communities that care for one another, and the shared belief that we all belong.

From families who have lived in Ottawa for generations, to newcomers building a new beginning, to the Indigenous communities whose stewardship of this land we are honoured to recognize — Ottawa Day celebrates the beautiful diversity, resilience, and compassion that make our city extraordinary.

Whether you are a community builder, business leader, public servant, entrepreneur, artist, cultural advocate, or proud resident — this evening is for you.

Together, we will celebrate what unites us and continue building a city where people feel seen, welcomed, valued, and deeply connected.

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM | Official Ottawa Day Celebration
Featuring remarks from distinguished leaders, community champions, and local leaders have also been invited to join the celebration.

7:30 PM – 9:30 PM | Ottawa Proud Entertainment & Celebration
An evening of music, storytelling, culture, and connection celebrating the incredible spirit of our city.
